A little bit about me….
Welcome to Emma’s Velvet Cakes, my home bakery business based in Didcot, Oxfordshire. I have always had a passion for baking and during lockdown I found myself spending the time making and perfecting the art of cake making. I started Emma’s Velvet Cakes in 2021, making celebration cakes part-time, my passion for baking took over and in 2025 and I went full time with my business. I specialise in buttercream celebration cakes, making bespoke designs created for specific celebrations. In addition, I also make an array of other bakes including, cupcakes, brownies and cookies.
In 2025, I opened The Cake Box, which is an honesty box outside my house, which I fill every other weekend with cakes, cupcakes, brownies and more and has become popular within my local community.

Placing an order
Please place orders at least 3 weeks in advance for custom cakes and 2 weeks in advance for cupcakes.
A 50% non-refundable deposit will be needed to secure your order via bank transfer. The remainder can be paid on collection.
Allergens
Please be aware when placing your order, all of my cakes may contain; nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat and gluten. I cannot guarantee that my cakes will be allergen free, due to being made in a domestic kitchen. Therefore my cakes are not suitable for anyone with allergies.
